I have a 2004 Crown Victoria and the wiper arm raises up off the windshield at highway speeds. All of the current body style Crown Victoria's I have had do this. I have replaced the wiper arm and still the same problem. Anybody that has any experience with this problem that can help would be greatly appreciated.
This happens on a lot of vehicles especially the ones that you can lift up from the winshiel to clean. It because the air stream gets underneath the blade causing it to lift up. There really isn't much you can do about this. The do have wipers at Auto parts to store that the whole blade is a solid contact point so it hugs the window better helps the cleaning and helps from the lifting. Go to auto zone or advanced auto parts and ask. I do not know the name for sure. They are pretty expensive though.
