Side Trim of Windsheild is loose and flapping...?
2004 Oldsmobile Alero. The side trim on the outside of the windshield on the driver side has come loose and now bounces on the windshield while driving. Is this something that I just need to buy some glue and glue it back in or something different. Thanks in advance for any advice you guys could give.
If this is the rubber trim, then you need to go to a glass shop and have it replaced. This is the gasket that holds the glass in place. If a part of it is flapping then at least you are prone to leaks, and at worst it will get worse and your windshield could fall out.
