I got my windows tinted on my car. I got the brow put up (the strip of tint on the windshield) and ever since then my radio signal isn't right; it's really staticy.
The car is an 07 impala. There is a little wire-like thing that is to the radio up there on the windshield.
My questions are:
Do you think it is the tint or do you think they maybe nicked that wire and made the thing messed up?
Do you know how to take the tint off? I am willing to try this also to see if it helps.
I drive a Lexus GS and i'm having the same problem. I don't have the metallic tint either, so I don't know what it is.
I would let an experienced tint shop take it off. At least if they screw something up, they're responsible for the repair.
