How do I remove the "gumminess" of 3m auto tape used to hold a plastic visor?
We had a hail storm a few weeks ago, which just wrecked all three cars.
On my Honda Fit, it broke the windshield and the plastic sun shade visor that I placed around the windows.
I just got the car back from the shop, and I need to replace the visors. It was applied with 3m automotive 2 sided tape (which seems to be good stuff) but it is leaving a little bit of gumminess on some edges. What should I use to clean this off?
And the winner is ... Rubbing Alcohol. Thanks!
rubbing alcohol is pretty good at dissolving the gue from the tape.
