Self Repair Windshield Kit Help?
I was driving and rock jumped up and chipped my windshield. It left a chip smaller than a dime. My brother used a self repair windshield kit which just sealed the crack but the crack is still there. I thought it would make the crack disappear. So i want to get it fixed the right way because my insurance covers that. So will that self repair glue or whatever it is make a difference if I try to have it repaired. I know they can totally make the chip disappear and I am not sure if this self repair glue is going to be a problem. Thanks
If it matters i have a 99' Honda Accord
The clear silicone is actually compressed in by a special tool.
