How to keep overhead garage door lower section from warping any more?
the rubber weatherstripping on the bottom is falling off and the lower wood panels have wicked up too much moisture. how to keep the problem from getting worse? I've tried spraying silicone on the bottom of the door. new weatherstripping won't work because it won't attach to the rotting bottom of the door. i can't afford the right repair or new door for now.
you can use weather seal only put it on the outside let it keep water from running in under the door I hope you understand what I am talking about lowe has the seal it looks like a l shape when nailed to the outside of the door the flap should keep water out until you can buy a bottom section, you can talk with lowe something new might be out Good Luck
