Should I replace windshield after rear view mirror fell off?
It didn't come off clean. There are pieces of the windshield still glued to the back and where the mirror was mounted has a dent where the glass broke. Can just glue it back like puzzle piece or will my windshield eventually get messed up?
I have repaired some mirrors that have done the same thing with good results.Just renove the mount from the mirror bracket and get some mirror adhesive from the auto parts store and apply glue then hold the bracket in place with masking tape for 24 hours.Then attach the mirror to the bracket after 24 hours.
