I recently got a promotion which involves me moving to another building. Yesterday I packed up my desk and placed all of my personal items in a box to be moved today. I came in this morning and the cleaning company my company contracts out threw the entire box out! They actually sorted through it and recycled all of the paper goods and threw out the rest. I am obviously not a happy camper. The cleaning company offered to compensate me for my losses but I have no idea how to put a dollar value on my items lost. Included in the box were such things as family pictures, a fish bowl, christmas lights, and most important to me: a sterling silver mirror that my parents bought me for my high school graduation. I am not sure how these people thought any of it was trash, they even threw out a box of oatmeal and a full bottle of aspirin. UGH!!!
Oh I am so Sorry they did this.I clean for a living and would have Never thought that your stuff was trash and would not have touched personal property as yours.I would say at Least a couple of hundred dollars and maybe add a bit for Personal pain.Congrats on your new job!
