Leak at fuel pump - 87 Toyota pickup?
I've got a slow leak that needs to be fixed before I get a smog test. It's coming from the underside of the place where the fuel pump bolts onto the engine block - here's a picture:

As you can see it currently has a thick rubber gasket, which I assume is the problem. The car starts and runs fine. The online parts I've seen give me several options. So here's my question. Should I:
A. Just replace the rubber gasket with a new one
B. Use a metal spacer with traditional thin gaskets
C. Replace the whole fuel pump (about $50)
Actually, I had a friend look at it, and it's motor oil that's leaking out, not fuel, so it's probably just the gasket that's bad, right?
There is a diaphram of sorts or a piston of sorts in the older mechanical fuel pumps that will eventually wear out and leak out of the small weep hole in the pump body.
Need to replace the whole pump. The gasket comes with it and is all done at the same time.
Good Luck.
