We had a new door & surround installed & there is a severe draft coming from underneath the sidelights. There is weatherstripping/gasket at the base & I can just barely get the tip of a finger under it. I am thinking about getting a can of spray insulation that has a straw dispenser & trying to seal the area under the stripping. Does anyone have any recommendations for brands, particularly ones that are fairly modest in the amount of foam that is dispensed, as I really won't be able to see what I'm doing until it foams out of the weatherstripping. yes, BUT use the white foam, not the expanding foam.
The expanding stuff (it all expands some) expandes way too much
and can warp things out of shape.
They sell it at LOWES and Home Depot for sealing
windows and doors.
It is also VERY sticky, be carefull what you get it on.
Acetone (fingernail polish remover) will take it off before it drys,
