Help me, How do I fix/repaint my rim?
I have 20inch rims that after one year of use the chrome seemed to flake away. I stored them over the winter then when I went to take them out in the sping there was a ton of chrome flaking off of 2 of the rims. My question is how could I go about repainting them? Getting them re-chromed seems extremely expensive. I wouldnt mind painting them all black but how would i go about doing this? Would I need to sand or sandblast the current finish off of them then paint?Would this stick? Any help will be greatly appreciated. thanks
Also what kind of paint would be used on a rim?
sandblast ,prime and paint should be just fine.
