Replacing sliding door with traditional door with 2 sidelites..help?
How much on average is the traditional door with 2 sidelights and will it be easy to install? If I buy it at Lowes, can they install it?
Right now our main front door is a sliding glass door and it just looks tacky and weird, not to mention it doesn't function properly anymore and lets out tons of heat!
You definitely want to buy a door to fit the same rough opening. Measure the door from side to side, it should be around 72" (6/0 door). Then look for a door in your budget in the same size. The height should be standard, about 78". Instalation is hard to judge but should be around $350.
