My contacts infected both eyes. Can I leave them in the lens solution and reuse them?
They are only 4 days old. My eyes have been red for 3 days and yesterday I found out that my eyes are infected. The contact lenses have been in the solution since i took them off. If i wear it again, will it make the infection worse? what sucks is that this pair is the last from the box of contacts. doesn't the disinfecting solution disinfect them? please let me know if I can wear the pair temporarily. They are soft acuvue lenses.
I would not wear them again. If you go to the place you got the contacts, they will probably give you a trial pair until your next exam or if you order a new set of contacts.
Don't put contacts in infected eyes and don't wear contacts that have been in infected eyes.
