abs brake line still leaking?
95 dodge avenger es 2.5l V6. I changed the abs hydraulic pump but because the nuts were too thighten I had to cut the lines off and after I double flared them and connected them, they are still leaking (between the nut and the line). I made the flare with the right tool several times but I don't know what I'm missing. I never had such a hard time with my car. Those who don't have experience, please don't answer telling me to take my car to a repair shop (I already know that choice). I'm looking for the answer of an experienced brake worker. The lines that leak are the ones that go to the wheels not the two ones that connect the master cylinder with the abs pump.
Not to sound like a smart ass but did you have double flares before the lines were cut or did you have Bubble Flares? the wrong flare will cause this problem
