Can you install the serpentine belt improperly and still drive for a few weeks? (behind water pump)?
Is it possible to have put it behind the water pump instead of in front and it still drive for a while? We then went to work on power steering pump that had burnt up and found it possibly installed "wrong". Any comments?
Provided it was still riding on the pulleys... yes you can route them wrong... but if it was off the pulley (behind pump?) then no... it would fly off the rest of the track instantly.
