Why do Puerto Ricans display their flag on the hoods of cars?
In most countries (USA included) this is considered an inappropriate display, and is considered offensive and disrespectful to people who have sacraficed, fought and died under that flag. What is the reason why the people of Puerto Rico display their flag, in my opinion, so disrespectfully?
Please don't tell me it is none of my business, it is an honest question asking for an explanation of different cultural customs...
I don't hate, I'm not prejudiced, it an honest question about differences in customs. Why are some people so offended?????
It is not so much inappropriate, as it is something you consider "over the top". I would just relax and not worry too much about it. They like to "say it loud that I'm proud"...
