Why do hybrid cars like the Honda Insight and the Toyota Prius have an "old style" Antenna sticking out?
Is that for design, performance, or just economical than low profile windshield antennas? The reason why Im asking is Im too lazy to wash my car and prefer going to an automatic carwash but I don't wanna break the antenna on my Insight?
I think they do it to give it a more "High Tech" look. Unfortunately, I don't think it pulls it off.
