How did my window break in a perfect circle?
My window broke the other day while I was out, in a perfect circle like 4 inches across, I live on the second story so nobody cut it but my landlord is trying to get me to pay for it saying that I cut a hole, in my own window, I know they're idiots.
anyone know how this could have happened?
http://i52.tinypic.com/sncg1v.jpg heres a picture, it looks like maybe it was hit with like a softball? glass was on the inside but thats circular as well, its on a window on the top story where nobody could really get to it without a ladder and there aren't any doors or anything somebody would be trying to reach for.
we just had a really bad cold snap last month & they've been working on something downstairs that is a lot of hammering and stuff so maybe the vibrations or something? its just weird how it broke.
I would take photos to present in court. Was there glass inside your home? That would mean the projectile came from outside. If there is no glass in your home...that means the round projectile came from inside the house.
I would suspect anything from a golf ball...base ball or soft ball. If it is perfectly cut...take a close up photo to show that it may have been cut with a circular glass cutter, used in arts and crafts.
The only other time I have seen broken glass, a bird will be on the ground. Injured or dead. A bird fly's into the reflection of the window glass and breaks its neck usually. Good Luck!
