[ Engine Drag during Acceleration ]?
Just bought a new HYUNDAI 07 AVANTE HD / ELANTRA
I feel that the car has very high rolling resistance and drags across the acceleration curve. It feels like engine drag. The kind of drag felt when using engine brake in manual cars. The AVANTE engine acceleration curve is VERY smooth. I still cannot figure out why my car has so much drag when accelerating.
Does anyone know?

the tire pressure is at 38 psi
normal is 32 psi
it is about 10k now... the drag is getting worse
The 1.6 liter AVANTE does not have a MAF
Check all your tire pressures first.
Make sure none of the brakes calipers are dragging anywhere.
