Poor quality on HD tv on non HD channels? What to do?
I just got a 1080P High Def TV - 40", The HD channels look great however the non- HD TV looks terrible. I feel like I am watching through someone else's glasses. Is this normal? Any suggestions on how to correct. I am running the TV through a HD cable box.

The number 1 reason people return their HDTV: they bring it home, plug it into their standard def service and are disappointed at how poor it looks.
My advice: watch only HD. Then write to the channels (or the advertisers on that channel) that only come in standard def and tell them you will NOT watch their station because it is not high def. Only when enough people do this will they upgrade.
