Any way i can replace the mirrow without paying over $150 for a whole new right side rear view mirrow. The glass broke when the door closed.

First of all if the glass broke "when the door closed", and you have a 2005 model, then this would still be covered under your warranty if you have not gone over 36,000 miles. And even if you HAVE gone over 36,000 miles, with it being still within your 3 years, you could (nicely) go to the dealership where you bought the car and ask if they will goodwill the repair.... assuming you didn't cause the damage. Ford dealerships have some discretion to authorize goodwill warranty repairs if the item is indeed defective in the interest of customer satisfaction. But they don't HAVE to do this. If you are nice and it is obvious that the material is defective, you may be able to talk a dealership into goodwilling all or some of the repairs under a Ford Goodwill Warranty code. But if there is evidence that the glass was broken by any level of collision, then you may as well not waste your time.
