I got an iPod Touch and I'm always cleaning the screen with a micro-fiber cloth, it does get rid of dirty specs but it doesn't really remove the fingerprints well (oil from your fingers still lingers). What is the best way for cleaning those? And before anyone says glass cleaner, note the manual specifically says "use a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth. Avoid getting moisture in openings. Don’t use window cleaners, household cleaners, aerosol sprays, solvents, alcohol, ammonia, or abrasives to clean iPod touch". And I don't have the original cleaning cloth that comes with it, I am using a micro-fiber cloth but it doesn't help with the oily fingerprints. By 'damp', do they mean just water (which isn't good on electronics)?
ipod touch screen is waterproof. they only say dont use water, because the screen is hard to use for about 15 seconds afterwards. use a soft wet cloth (kitchen towel) or some window cleaner. its what i do with mine, and the screen looks ace!
