opinion on a used car I'm interested in buying please!?
heres how it was listed:
2003 honda accord lx- $2900, 70880 miles, 4 cylinders, automatic, dealer maintained car. car has 4 brand new tires (goodyear triple thread) it dose have a new full size spare michelin tire in addition to the donut tire. Brand new genuine break rotors and break pads in the back. tinted glass. vehicle has a 75000 miles or 7 year extended warenty and is transferable.
is this a good deal? are these cars good cars? do they do well on gas? is the interior roomy? is that high mileage for the age of the car? in the pictures the car looks great! but i have a tendency to see shiny and new and pretty and jump for it. when i see the car what should i look for? this is the 3ed car iv bought but my last two were crappy... pretty, but crappy!
Thats alot of questions, but heres what I can answer, first off, they are good cars as long as taken care of, and if its dealer maintained, it should be good. If its the four cylinder it should get mid to high 30's in the mpg department. Interior is a little cramped for bigger sized people (over 5'9"). That is not high mileage at all as long as its highway. The report that the last person was talkign about is carfax, and if its from a dealer they should provide one, if its a person, it usually only costs a few bucks to get on and get one. Look around the car, make sure if it does have damage you know it, and check under it for rust. They are great cars, and if taken care of they will run in the 200k-300k miles easily. Good luck!
