Does a 99 Mitsubishi Diamante have an EGR solenoid?
An error code on my car said I have a faulty EGR solenoid. I have cleaned and checked the EGR valve but can't seem to find the solenoid. Does anyone know if there is one and if so do you know where I can see a picture of it. Also where can you purchase it.
Auto Zone said it is probably a dealer only part. I also read that some cars have a solenoid and some are just vacuum, but I am far from an expert.
Go to the dealer and buy the solenoid. The only other solenoid would be the purge solenoid for the evap system and it has the larger hoses running to it.
