2006 f250 6.0. makeing noise (exhaust) after I installed egr bypass kit?
I put a egr bypass kit on my truck, now at a idle the exhaust rattles, and will drive you nuts at a idle, what is causeing this, seems to becomeing from the cataletic converter area, and also what is the fix, or did the mechanic do something wrong!
yes he did, he installed an EGR bypass. depsite what shysters will tell you, the egr is a pretty good system. It increases fuel economy and decreases pollution with only a minimal detriment to performance. You got suckered by a slick talking mechanic with an axe to grind.
