ok..I have a jeep wrangler, that I constantly keep getting a leak on the drivers side floor. I just put a new top on, getting ready to put a new cowl seal in the front this spring..Is there anything else that could be causeing this leak..I heard it may be the hood vent and was gonna try that and I also heard to check my manual vents to make sure they arent open..Please help..grr leak..lol
If it's your driver side, then it's not your vent. That would cause leaking on the passenger side. And your heater core would smell like antifreeze. I had this problem a few years ago. On the outside of your windshield, there is a rubber gasket basically covering the crack between your windshield frame and body. I pulled the top of it away from the windshield frame and ran a bead of silicone in it. Haven't had a problem since.
