This car is hard to find parts for.
I'm aware of the fact that this car, the Dodge Daytona (within the same years), and the Mitsubishi Starion are basically the same vehicle.. but parts specifically for the Laser are hard to come by.
Any help would be appreciated.
Especially a website that has custom performance parts available for my car would be cool.
A little of question topic: Has anyone made a concept design for an updated (new-age) Chrysler Laser. I'd love to see something to build by. My goal is to completely upgrade my Laser to put in shows.
Laser and Daytona are identical, except for some trim pieces. Sheet-metal, suspension, engine, and trans parts will fit both of these cars and will not make a difference which one it is ordered for.
Some interior and other trim items will be specific to the vehicle. Trim items will include nameplates, moldings, and ground effects. Bumpers may be different, since yours is a Laser XT, I think it had a unique rear bumper cover (aka fascia).
Since your car likely has the 2.2 turbo, there are lots of engine upgrades that can be had for it, some inexpensive, others quite expensive -- really depends on how much more power you want as to how much it will cost for upgrades.
To find out lots of information, just look for enthusiast web sites or message boards for Mopar turbo 4 cylinders, or the Dodge Daytona.
BTW, the Mitsubishi Starion is the same as a Chrysler Conquest. These are not at all like the Daytona/Laser.
