How to replace silverado front bumper?
GM Part # GM-1002830.
I have a 2008 Chevy Silverado LS 4x4 Crew Cab. I was backed into and have a dented front bumper.. I have the new one... Do I have to remove other components to replace the front bumper?

Depending on which side the bumper was hit, and if the side in question's mounts were not bent, the bumper is all that needs to be replaced. If the brackets are not bent, then replacement is pretty straightforward. Remove the 18mm bolts that secure the bumper (you will have to remove the lower air dam and fog lamp assemblies, if equipped) and install the new bumper. You may have to adjust the new bumper to fit correctly. Peace.
