I was recently involved in an accident in my Red 1996 chevrolet camaro. I know that I can send the car to a junk yard for free if i just wanted to get rid of it, but i would really like to get some money from it to aid in my purchasing of a new car. The damage was done to the driver side door where the fiber glass bloke off however the door is still attached. The windshield is cracked and the driver side tail light is busted. The car does still start though. Any quote that can be offered an what type of place i should look for to take it to would also be helpful.
There's usually dozens of places that will pay between 200-300 for a wrecked car. Try looking for those in Craigslist, or the Yellow Pages. If there's any frame damage, the car is as good as done, though.
For a quote....since I can't see any pictures or anything....I'd guess that you could maybe get 400-500 from a local buyer, maybe 250 if you talk to a good junker.
