changed the brakes and now i have a slight grinding noise?
2005 dodge carvan
i had rotors turned
the noise was noticed about 100 miles after install
no jerking or pulling brakes feel real smooth
van does not pull at all van stops fine
i put anti rattle grease on back of pads as suggested when i bought the pads
i feel like i am going nuts any suggestions i thought this was a simple job
most brake pads are cast (poured into a mold) and the dies that they come out of leave a little bit of a ridge that will need to be worn off, either regular driving or hard braking will make it go away (over time). It'll happen, ive changed enough brakes.
