Do pipe air filters, such as a K&N air filter, help the performance of your vehicle?
I have been told that these filters will allow your engine to breath thus improving horse power and gas millege.
They flow slightly more air, so if you drive with 100% throttle all the time you may see a slight performance increase. Since your stock filter can flow as much air as the engine can handle right up to redline, the stock filter can certainly flow enough air under part throttle situation.
