hey i was looking on ebay and i came over this sensor which replaces the temp sensor which tell the engine that the air is always 34 degrees which enables the engine's so called extra horsepower
is this a scam?
will it mess something up?

The only thing that the engine will do is if it thinks it is 34 degrees,-- is burn more gas! Yes it will decrease MPGs.,-because it will kick in the"cold start enrichment valve" and make idling mixture more dense! Whether this will give you more horsepower is debateable! Yes it could mess up your engine, - depending on how radiacal a change the fuel mixture is to begin with! It will also probably make your car "flunk" any pollution tests, - if you have them where you are!
