I just got a new exhaust put on my car. Will that make my car a 95 Honda Accord better on gas mileage?
Well, with a Honda, a more restrictive exhaust would be better, to produce low end torque. Keeping the engine in the low RPM range is key for gas mileage in these cars, since you have to wind them out to 5,000 RPM's to typically make a good amount of power.
Although, if you purchased a big fart cannon, you will not only annoy your whole neighborhood, and town, you will decrease your gas mileage, by losing a relatively big amount of low end torque.
